14 Weeks - A Lemon!

This is from April 10th - exactly 14 weeks. The baby is the size of a lemon now! We're heading out for vacation tomorrow, so no posts for a while. But I'll take my weekly pictures while away and post them when we return!

Weekend in Brooklyn

We spent the weekend in Brooklyn with our friends Scott and Crystalle. It was great - we ate amazing food, explored their neighborhood, and bought a fun decoration for the baby's room at a flea market. It was a perfect weekend!

We also roamed around a baby store - I think it was clear that we weren't serious shoppers!

Here's the decoration we bought. It's part of an old basketball scoreboard. We're not sure if we'll paint it, but it should look neat in the baby's room!

Finally, Scott and I compared bellies (his "food baby"). I think he's further along than I am!

13 Weeks - A shrimp!

Claire and I are pleased to announce that, if all goes according to plan, young David Ortiz Abely (or Davida) will be showing up in Red Sox Nation this October-- just in time for the playoffs. Here's hoping that he/she has something to cheer for.
