Nashville
Maggie ventured down to Nashville, Tennessee for the 4th Annual Presidents Day Weekend get-together with her Dad's college friends. She was extremely talkative all weekend and enjoyed serving, along with Jack Yarbro, the junior-most member of the gang (Clarke Tucker is surely glad to finally relinquish that honor after many years). Next year's Presidents Day destination is as yet undecided, but Maggie hopes to add her running narrative to that weekend as well.

Leaps and Bounds!
Being around Maggie every day, I don't always notice how big she's getting. I notice all of her new tricks, and I know she's outgrowing lots of clothes, but it's very gradual. Well, on Saturday, I found a cute hat in her dresser that she hadn't worn since she was one week old. When she wore it in October, it was huge, and we had to roll it to keep it from getting in her eyes. So we put it away, given that it wasn't very useful back then. Look at her now - the hat fits like a glove, and is one of my new favorites!

More Maggie - Try 2!
Hopefully the photos will work this time!
I know that the true blog followers (the grandmothers!) would like an update, so here are a few recent pictures of Maggie. She loves playing on her playmat - she rolled over again when she was playing that day (maybe it's easier to roll when you don't have on any clothes?).

We just put together Maggie's jumperoo. It was a gift from her Grammy and Granddad for Christmas. She likes playing with the toys, but is a little too short to jump, so we put a phone book under her feet. Then the phone book kept slipping, so now there are law school textbooks under her feet. It's the only time those books have been used
