More Maggie

Adventures in Eating

Maggie is loving solid foods -- so far, she's taken on rice cereal, sweet potato, and avocado. She lunges at the spoon with great vigor -- it is a sight to behold. We have some good video and will upload soon.

Famous

Maggie would like to let everyone know that her Daddy is now famous.

Yes, it's in a blog for college kids, but he's still famous!

Luck of the Irish?

Maggie had a great St. Patrick's Day yesterday, and hopes you did too!
Perhaps she was exhausted from all of the revelry at school?
I guess so, because Maggie amazingly slept last night from 7pm until 7am, without getting up to eat in the middle of the night! I know it probably won't happen every night, but hopefully it is a sign of things to come!
(Disclaimer: Bill says that Maggie talked to herself for a long time around 2am, but I didn't wake up to hear it. And we did have to replace her pacifier a couple of times. But not eating in the night? That's still a big milestone!)

5 Months!

Maggie celebrated her 5 month birthday last weekend.
As you can tell, she's ready to be on the move!

Real Food

This past Saturday Maggie ate solid food for the first time! She seemed to really enjoy it and seems not to mind that rice cereal has absolutely no taste. Next stop for Maggie -- Corned Beef & Cabbage!

Photos on Picasa

All of our pictures from February are now on Picasa in three folders - February, Presidents' Day 2009, and USVI Feb. 2009. I thought the grandparents would want to know!

More Vacation

Well, we're back at work and Maggie has started school down the street! Things are much busier than they were while Claire was home.

Here are a few more vacation pictures while we work on getting more from March uploaded onto the computer.

USVI

We're just back from our vacation in the U.S. Virgin Islands. We had a great time, and Maggie seemed to like the beach, the ocean, and the warm weather.
We'll post more photos soon, but here are a few to keep blog addicts satiated in the meantime:

Two-Headed Monster

Several alarmed citizens have reported sightings of a two-headed beast wandering the snowy streets of Boston. Scientists warn that, although the lower head is known to smile at all passers-by, this does not indicate harmlessness. Please be on the look-out.
