Last Ride of the Year

We've been lucky to live just one block from a carousel on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, and Maggie has enjoyed frequent rides throughout the year. Sunday was the last day of the season for the carousel, so Maggie suited up in cold-weather gear for one last ride. Afterwards we wandered home through the lit-up Columbus Park trellis, a nice winterly addition to the neighborhood to help tide us over until the carousel returns in the Spring.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving in Newton and Wellesley (and are right now back in Boston about to dive into another turkey-and-stuffing feast). We have much for which to be thankful this year - most of all our sweet little Maggie and Molly!

Chopsticks

Maggie is getting pretty good at eating her noodles with chopsticks, although her technique is a bit unorthodox. In other news, Molly got her first taste of airplane travel when she and Claire went to Indiana last weekend. She was a good little traveler and will be back up in the skies (with her big sister this time) in only 2 1/2 weeks.

Molly

Molly is growing more awake, alert, and smiley every day.  She is a joy.

Arnold Arboretum

Maggie and Molly had fun last weekend playing in the leaves on a nice Autumn day at the Arnold Arboretum.

Halloween

Maggie had a blast with her first real Halloween. She went trick or treating North End style (i.e., going restaurant-to-restaurant rather than house-to-house), and managed to bring home quite a haul of candy. For the record, dressing as a baseball player was her idea, which she chose over turtle, horse, and Delaware Witch.

Two Months

Our little pumpkin turned two months old on Halloween.  More photos from last weekend to follow shortly.
