Maggie and I are thrilled that it is Friday - only a few more hours until Maggie's best friend Bill is home to spend the weekend with us!

They'll have plenty of time to hang out - it's clear that they have fun!

Today has been a beautiful autumn day, and Claire and Maggie and I took a lovely stroll through Boston Common and the Public Garden. Maggie hopes that there are many more sunny warm days in the coming weeks.

Today was a sunny and cool Fall day -- perfect for Maggie's first walk around the neighborhood:

#1 Red Sox Fan

The Red Sox are 2-0 in Maggie's lifetime and have staved off elimination in two huge games. Tonight Claire went to bed early and Maggie and I stayed up to watch Game 6.

Don't be fooled by Maggie's closed eyes in the photo -- she was just reserving energy, knowing that postseason games often go late. Claire woke up to watch the 9th and the three of us rejoiced.

Maggie is so excited for Game 7 that she is speechless. Let's go Red Sox!

Our first night at home and Maggie has been very cooperative. She lay quietly in her bassinet while Claire and I enjoyed a lovely meal of take-out from our favorite North End restaurant. Orecchiete con Salsiccia and Risotto di zucca al gamberi with a nice Napa Cabernet -- a big step-up from the hospital cuisine. We'll see what the rest of the night holds, but so far she's been a perfect angel.

Miracle Baby

October 15 -- Maggie is born (she waited for an off-day of the ALCS)

October 16 -- Red Sox complete miracle comeback (down 7-0 in 7th, they end up winning 8-7)

October 17 -- Maggie puts on her road jersey to get ready for Game 6 at the Trop
