This Week in Maggie

On Monday, Maggie and her Mom went to a class at Isis Maternity and then had lunch at the Pru Mall. Maggie visited her Mom's colleagues at Foley & Lardner and was a big hit with all. Later on in the afternoon, she took a walk with her new friend Marisol in the North End.

On Tuesday, Maggie went to a class with her Mom at Mass. General and had lunch at Bertucci's with her Mom's friend Carrie. In the evening, she walked to Ropes & Gray to meet her Dad, and everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner at Wagamama.

On Wednesday, Maggie went shopping with her Mom and had a checkup at the North End Community Health Center. She is doing great and now weighs 9 pounds and 11 ounces.

On Thursday, Dad began his paternity leave -- he is off work until December 1! The family took a trip to City Hall to collect copies of Maggie's birth certificate and then had passport photos taken. We also had lunch with Dad's old friend Eric Lev.

On Friday, Maggie had an amazing lunch at Galleria Umberto, her parents' favorite pizza place. She then went up to the Boston Athenaeum and helped her Dad pick out a few books. In the evening, Maggie hosted 6 friends (Scott, Shannon, Oppie, Heather, Eric, and Nicole) who came over and feasted on baked ziti and cannoli. Maggie was the star of the party.

On Saturday, Maggie made her first trip on the Orange Line (and her first trip to a bar -- though she won't visit any without her Dad until she is at least 30). She hit up Clery's to watch the annual DePauw - Wabash Monon Bell Game. DePauw dominated the game and Maggie left happy. In the evening, Maggie watched her first James Bond film. She is excited to see Quantum of Solace next week.

On Sunday, Maggie walked along the waterfront and around the Federal Courthouse. She enjoyed a lazy afternoon reading the paper and then went to dinner with her friends Tony and Nicole at Antico Forno in the North End.

Just another week in the life of Maggie!

Sounds like Maggie has a very busy social schedule. Hope her Mom and Dad can get some rest!
