Maggie and I just got back from a great trip to Indiana to visit my family. It was very, very hot there, but Maggie didn't seem to mind and was excited to finally wear some summer clothes. She hasn't been so lucky in Boston yet! I was nervous about flying with a very active crawling baby, but she did great and was a good travel companion. She didn't let me read and relax on the flight - I fear those days are over!
Here are some highlights from the trip.
GREAT GRANDDAD! Maggie loved him. She'd smile to get his attention when he came in the room, and would laugh once he looked at her. It was adorable.
COUSINS! As you can see, Maggie liked her cousins quite a bit (too much?). They were very sweet to her, especially four year old Tyler. He loved her, and protected her from the two year olds!
PLAYING and SWIMMING! We went swimming every day at Lesley's, and Maggie loved it (sorry, no pictures of swimming!). She even put her face under the water and didn't cry! Maggie also loved all the new toys, and played with them all week. During the week, she started making this very determined face (see pout, below) when she was working hard - it was cute.
Next trip, camp in New Hampshire. See you soon!

Thanks for the pictures - wish we'd have gotten one of her pointing at her favorite new thing - a ceiling fan!
Thanks for posting the photos -- I miss Maggie a ton, but this helps a little. Be sure to post pictures from New Hampshire and I can't wait to see both of you next week!
