Inauguration

Maggie was delighted to be present for the beginning of a new era when President Obama was sworn in on the West Front of the Capitol on January 20. She was more than happy to brave the cold and the crowds to be part of such a momentous occasion (even if she slept through the vast bulk of the ceremony and address). Maggie hopes that she'll be back again in four years -- and next time she'll be old enough for her parents to hit up one of the inaugural balls.

Can you spot us in the crowd?

Our view would have been much better were it not for this tree. Maggie now has a strong dislike for Evergreens
